Inspire Kids Opens New Classroom at SUNY Orange Lab School

Goshen, NY – May 10, 2019 – On Friday, April 26 Inspire Kids celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of their new classroom at the SUNY Orange Lab School in Newburgh. This inclusive classroom for children ages 3-5 is a collaboration between Inspire and SUNY Orange. Students at SUNY Orange have the opportunity to complete their student teaching hours at the Inspire Kids classroom. Students from the nursing, psychology and dental programs can also come into the classroom for their field hours. The classroom is open to children of SUNY Orange students and facility, as well as members of the community.

Inspire is a not-for-profit charitable organization, officially known as Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association, Inc. It provides a wide array of outpatient, educational, and support services for individuals of all ages and abilities. Inspire Kids is a special education preschool for children ages 2 ½ to 5 years of age with developmental delays. Inspire also provides day habilitation, respite, social programs, and more. Through its many programs, Inspire impacts the lives of over 5,500 children and adults annually primarily in Orange County.
