Assistant Executive Director

INSPIRE operates in partnership with ADAPT Community Network, is an affiliate of Cerebral Palsy Association of New York State, and a member of Hudson Valley Service Providers.

Job Functions: INSPIRE is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to collaborate with the Executive Director to sustain, promote, and grow departmental programs and services. The Assistant Executive Director will supervise budgets for regular and special programs and expenses. They will also contribute to the agency’s strategic goals and objectives, as well as the overall management of the organization and serve as information officer for crisis communication. The Assistant Executive Director will coordinate and lead the Incident Review Committee, and the Health & Safety Committee and ensure organizational legal and regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Compliance Officer.

Qualifications: A master’s degree in a field related to education and/or human services. Minimum 5 years leadership experience in not-for-profit, education and/or human services, including experience in the development of programs; evaluation of program effectiveness; team building; policy development, fiscal oversight and familiarity with operations of human services programs.

Salary Range: $90,000-$95,000, depending on experience

This is a full-time position that requires on-site attendance.

 

Speech Language Pathologist

Provide evaluation and intervention in areas of communication (speech, voice, language, fluency, pragmatics)

Responsibilities:
· Provide quality evaluation and therapy services for students
· Recommend goals and objectives that are educationally appropriate and medically necessary, measurable, well-written and reflect the student’s intervention needs
· Administer formal and informal assessments appropriately, interprets the results accurately, and diagnoses appropriately
· Accurately prescribe and provide services in accordance with medical/clinical plans of care, IEPs and IFSPs
· Complete required documentation that is accurate and timely

Requirements:
· Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • New York State license and current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Teaching certification in Students with Speech-Language Disorders (TSSLD) or Speech & Hearing Handicaps (TSHH)
  • Strong verbal and written language skills, and demonstrated ability to work well within a team

Pay: $59,500.00 – $66,000.00 per year

 

Occupational Therapist

Our OTs provide occupational therapy for Inspire Kids students consistently with IEP mandates. Additional duties include completing all necessary documentation and participating as part of a program teams with other therapies and special education.

Candidates must have a New York State license in good standing and current registration as an Occupational Therapist. Direct experience providing occupational therapy with children. Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ability to work well within a team.

This is a part time 48-week school-year position that includes a six-week summer session.

Part time salary will be based on based full time salary

Pay: $59,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year

 

Connections Coordinator 

INSPIRE Connections is a program offered by Inspire that provides opportunities for families to connect with each other and with resources by offering annual series of meetings and presentations on topics of interest to families and individuals with I/DD and/or special educational needs. This position will expand Inspire Connections to include resource and referral assistance for families and individuals seeking supports for developmental and special education needs.

Pay: $18.00/hr.

Job Type: Part-time 15-20 per week

 

Support & Services Coordinator

The Support & Services Coordinator is responsible for monthly unit tracking and all fiscal functions within the Disability Services department.

Responsibilities include functioning as the ISS Representative for the Agency, tracking petty cash reimbursements for Day Hab program and generating and tracking Disability Services vouchers and expenses. The Support & Services Coordinator will also generate monthly budget comparison reports and assist with budget planning and provide clerical and organizational support with the department.

Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel along with two years of administrative and/or financial experience. A valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation also required. Experience with direct care and/or developmental disabilities preferred. High School diploma required

Pay: $17.50-$19.00

 

Assistant Education Director

This position is part of a program management team of certified administrators directing curriculum, behavioral supports, related services, regulatory compliance, and program innovations for children ages 3-5 years supported in self-contained and integrated classrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of teachers and classroom paraprofessionals, representing the program at district meetings, and participation in the agency’s management team.
  • Direction of CTAs and light teaching duties/coverage duties are included.

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in education or equivalent is required.
  • NYS Initial or Professional Certification as School Building Leader (SBL) or NYS Permanent Certification in School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with preschool education preferred.
  • Knowledge of NYS regulations on Preschool Special Education referral and eligibility. NYS Office for Children and Family Services daycare regulations, and of NYS Medicaid-in-Education requirements.

Supervision is available for applicants requiring supervised employment to satisfy SBL certification requirements.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

 

Pre-School Special Education Teacher

Must have MS/BS in Special Education and New York State Certification Student with Disabilities B-2 or BA/BS with teacher license working toward master’s degree.  Our school schedule also includes a six (6) week summer session.

Salary: $52,500.00 – $65,000.00 per year

 

Teacher’s Aide

Assist with setting up classrooms daily, arrival/departure, toileting, snack/lunch and playground routines. Work the 48-week school year which includes a 6-week summer session.

Salary: $15.65/hour

 

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Part time: Com Hab and Respite

Full time: Day Habilitation – Valid NYS Driver’s license required.

Salary: $16.00/hour
