January 9, 2025 – INSPIRE, officially known as Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association, Inc. announced the appointment of Beth Laub as the organization’s Executive Director. “It means so much to me that the Board of Directors and my colleagues trust me with this responsibility to lead such an incredible organization. I believe that my experience will allow me the opportunity to grow our organization, while continuing to be an organization that stands out in our community,” said Beth Laub.
She brings her solid experience of over 20 years in the I/DD field as a Special Education Administrator to the organization after serving as Assistant Executive Director of Education for The Arc Greater Hudson Valley. Her strategic vision and ability to drive operational excellence will be instrumental in guiding INSPIRE towards continued success and expansion.
Ms. Laub holds a master’s degree in special education from the College of New Rochelle and a School Building Leader certificate from the College of St. Rose. She’s a lead member of the NYSED Special Education Stakeholders Committee, previously held the position of lead facilitator for the NYSARC Education Director’s group and is an active member of the NYS Alliance advocacy group.
“Beth is the perfect person to lead INSPIRE as our Executive Director. She has vast experience in both the field of special education and in working in our region, a fantastic combination. We look forward to working with Beth for years to come!” said Maureen Torelli, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Announced last month, Beth Laub assumes the role following the retirement of Jeanne Herbert, who served the organization for 45 years.
