We currently have an opening for a full time School Psychologist at our Inspire Kids preschool in Goshen, New York. The School Psychologist will provide clinical psychological services to the children and their families.

Responsibilities include evaluating the needs of children ages 2 ½ to 5 years old by performing a psycho-social evaluation and psychological testing of the student and the student’s family, participating as a team member for CPSE evaluations, and assisting families in accessing services from community agencies.

Candidates must have a Masters degree in Psychology AND New York State certification as a School Psychologist. Experience with evaluations and counseling preferably in an educational setting. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

This is a full time school position including a six week summer session in July.

We are looking for a full time School Social Worker for our preschool located in Goshen. Responsibilities include providing clinical social work services to the children with differing degrees of functioning and serving as an educational and social link between the school and the home and actively works to strengthen that link for students and their parents/guardians. The School Social Worker will also evaluate the needs of newly enrolled students by performing psycho-social evaluations of the students and their families and provide social work services to students through play therapy and other modalities of treatment. Will provide family counseling services to the families of students who have been identified by the CPSE as requiring these services and assist families in accessing services from community agencies and with school related information.

We are seeking a candidate that will establish and maintain a good rapport with students, families, school staff, school district personnel and community members and also work welll in a team environment. DSP’s will be responsible for required documentation and depending on the service, may be working in the person’s home, in the community, and/or may be working with other DSPs providing community-based recreational activities.

Experience with direct care and/or developmental disabilities preferred.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
