Title Speech Language Pathologist

We currently have a full time Speech Language Pathologist position available in our Goshen preschool.

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluation and intervention in areas of communication (speech, voice, language, fluency, pragmatics), oral motor function and swallowing. Will also recommend goals and objectives that are educationally appropriate and medically necessary, measurable, well-written and reflect the student’s intervention needs. Will administer formal and informal assessments appropriately, interpret the results accurately, and diagnose appropriately and exercise independent judgment in assessing students and in identifying appropriate treatment goals and strategies

Candidate must have Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and teaching certification in Students with Speech-Language Disorders (TSSLD) or Speech & Hearing Handicaps (TSHH)

Must also have strong verbal and written language skills, and demonstrated ability to work well within a team.

Title Maintenance Worker

We currently have an open position for a full time Maintenance Worker who will maintain buildings and grounds that provide clean, safe, efficient and attractive locations for the work of Inspire across all Inspire sites.

Responsibilities include accessibility and safety of grounds including lawn and yard care, playground maintenance, walkway access, and snow removal and maintaining  buildings including general and preventative maintenance, painting, and minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.  The Maintenance Worker will also maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in safe operating condition, including minor repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, maintain inventory and ensures availability of Facilities supplies across sites and provide custodial support of cleaning and floor maintenance.

A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.  Job related experience preferred.

Ability to drive and access to a vehicle required.

This position is for a 12-month school year which includes a six week session in the summer.

  • Day Habilitation DSPs: Working in the community with individuals supporting them to achieve community integration and person-centered goals.
  • Community Habilitation DSPs: Part Time positions with day, evening and weekend hours available. Supporting individuals in the home and out in the community to achieve person-centered goals.
  • Wraparound Community Services (WCS) DSPs: Part time and full time positions, day, evening, and weekend hours available. This is an innovative program which provides intensive in-home and community supports for people with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.   • Respite DSPs: Part time positions, evening and weekend hours available to provide in-home support for individuals.


We are seeking energetic, caring and dependable individuals that will build relationships with the individuals we serve, both adults and children with developmental disabilities, to encourage independence and productivity, and a sense of community.

The DSP will be responsible for forming a strong, positive, and supportive relationship with the person participating in services and their support team. Services are delivered as determined by the individual’s Individualized Service Plan.  DSP’s will be responsible for required documentation and depending on the service, may be working in the person’s home, in the community, and/or may be working with other DSPs providing community-based recreational activities.

Experience with direct care and/or developmental disabilities preferred.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
